This is one beautiful faucet. The black finish is flawless. The touchless feature is awesome. No handles to maintain. You set the water temperature you want on the control box. No need for electricity. It runs on batteries. It can plug in but doesn't have to. Another reviewer was mistaken about that. You DON'T have to run power.

This is a pretty good faucet.INSTALLATION: There are a lot of connections to be made, but installation is simple. A handy person could remove an old faucet and replace with this in under an hour. It comes with all the supply lines, and they are of decent quality (not the best, but certainly not the worst). It comes with good anchors for attaching the control box, which is rare these days. My only real complaint is that it was missing a rubber washer in one of the houses, so I had to buy one. My guess is that it either got left out but accident or I somehow lost it when I was unpacking it (I looked around quite a bit). It does plug into an outlet, so make sure you have one accessible (if it's not ARC or GFCI protected, I recommend replacing the outlet). The cord is three-pronged. It does appear you can use batteries instead, but I did not try that. The temperature is set using the mixing valve that you mount to the control box under the sink.SPOUT: The spout reaches well into the sink, so you don't have to touch the basin to wash. The sensor has a generous activation zone, and I had no issues with it turning on and staying on. The finish in the spout is nice and appears like it will hold up.BOTTOM LINE: A good faucet with good functionality. I expect it to hold up will to use.

Out of the box, this faucet definitely has a premium feel. The packaging is done well, and all the pieces are quality. Having never installed a motion-sensor faucet before, it did take a little bit longer than expected, but all the parts required are included.
Operation is very smooth, and the functionality is as to be expected.

I received this faucet quickly and undamaged. It was well packaged with all the parts secured in a foam insert. The instructions were simple and fairly easy to follow. They could have had a little better illustrations but I managed. Once I had it installed (about 20 minutes) I turned the water back on and tested it. It worked perfectly the first time and no adjustments were needed. It activated about 2 or 3 inches from the sensor and had a good aerated flow. I had set the temperature / mixing valve about half way and after 10 or 12 seconds I had a cool but not cold stream of water. I wasn't sure if I would like this faucet but after having the grandchildren for the weekend I decided it was great! No more dripping faucets...

Everything fragile was wrapped in a thin foam bag, and the extra pieces were all together in a plastic bag. All hardware was included as well.Looks: 5/5Love the look of this sink. The matte black coating is extremely luxurious and consistent. The logo is also luxurious, being small and above the sensor. I love that the sensor matches the sink color, keeping everything sleek. Although I have yet to install this (waiting for bathroom remodel to finish) I can tell by the parts and faucet this is a good quality fixture! The faucet caught my eye first due to the finish. Such a great design with a smooth to the touch surface, almost soft. The hardware is brass or steel and everything has beautiful threading for a nice tight connection. Everything I need to do the install myself is included except for the tools. The instructions are straight forward and fairly easy to read. The electronic component which plugs into a standard outlet (or hopefully a standard GFI) with ground then goes to the unit itself with a specific connection easily done. This box also includes the wall plugs and screws to mount under the sink or to the wall or other surface locations. It has the base on all the lines for the water with flange and filter. The core connector is heavy and good quality. I see this is a beautiful modern way to make using the faucet easy with the star feature of touch-less motion detection and that’s great for me because less hands touching the faucet means cleaner and less maintaining. Overall for the cost I got a high quality, modern faucet with technical advantages that has a beautiful finish and includes all the quality hardware you need to easily install

In my barn I work on engines, build tiny homes and much more. I've had several faucet sets. Why? Because the faucet sets always became so nasty and grimy that I just threw them away. Why? NASTY HANDS. With the crap we get on our hands, the result is a nasty, gooey mess on faucet handles. When I saw this faucet set a light went off in my head. This faucet is automated using motion detection technology. We've all used them many times. They are in shopping mall bathrooms, big retailer's bathrooms and so on. Think Wally World, for instance. If it works for them, it will work for me - I thought. Well, this faucet set was pretty easy to install. Once completed, I gave it a try. It works! Mission accomplished! Sort of... Well, not so fast, Hargus! Once I had the basic install done, it took a fair amount of tinkering to get the water temperature right. It took another fair amount of doing to get electricity to the bathroom. Getting everything I needed in the right place and the right settings was far more trouble than just installing the faucet. You'll notice there are no knobs for adjusting anything! All adjustments are internal, and have to be set up right before you get what you want. The motion sensor works - if you get it set up right. I would say this faucet was worth all the hassle. I won't say it's as easy to install as regular faucets. I will say once you get everything perfect, you'll agree it was all worthwhile! So... The faucet is made of brass cast in a single piece.a No problems there. When you get it done right, the motion sensor will detect your hands and turn on the water automatically. After some trial and error you can indeed get the temperature set where you want it and the correct temperature. It being a barn, I have no hot water, just cold water. I flirted with an instant water heater. Too much trouble. The water turns off as soon as you pull your hands away from the sensor window. It does save money because there is no wasted water. The same would apply to heated water - if I had any! Faucet and sink cleanup time after washing hands is nearly nonexistent now. The touchless faucet is really great! It saves me lots of work, no question. I'm glad I got it. For me, it was worth the hassle of replacing the existing standard faucet! And a LOT less time is spent cleaning up the sink and faucets!!!
